Our Processes

If you're ready to transform your backyard with a custom swimming pool, here's what to expect from Curry's Pools & Spas.

Vinyl Pools

• Excavate the area, making room for braces and panels by going an extra two feet in each direction.
• Pour concrete around the bottom of the pool.
• Handle all plumbing work.
• Throw vermiculite on the flooring, making it about two inches thick.
• Place the liner over the vermiculite.
• Fill everything with water.
• Pour the concrete deck around the pool.
• Set up the filters.
• Start everything up!

Gunite Pools

• Excavate everything, making sure to go an extra couple feet in every direction to make room for braces and panels.
• Install half-inch steel beams on 10-inch centers.
• Handle all the plumbing work.
• Shoot gunite into the pool.
• Handle tile work.
• Cope the border.
• Pour the concrete deck around the pool.
• Plaster on the inside of the shell.
• Fill it with water.
• Set up the pumps.
• Start the pumps and enjoy!
